Labor Day is the unofficial end to summer, and as we look back on this summer, it is with gratitude. With your support, Byrd's Filling Station has grown to be larger than even expected in such a short time. We couldn't have done it without the support from our customers, subscribers, local businesses, and the CA Green Business Network. The whole point is to work together to reduce our reliance on plastic - both for human health and environmental health - and together we're making an impact!
So who are these really supportive local businesses, you ask?
CuriOdyssey is where we got our first start! When they heard about our mission, it was like a match made in Heaven. My kids love the education museum and wildlife, and we love talking with members at the First Friday events each month about plastic pollution and solutions.
Our whole family enjoys taking classes at Core TaeKwonDo, and our kids love the summer camps. Thank you for helping spread the word, and lending us some folding tables for our first markets!
Bay Meadows Farmers Market was the first market to accept our shop. There is something special brewing in the community, and this new market will continue to grow as people figure out what a gem it is.
