As a proud Rotarian (that's a whole blog in-and-of itself!), I realized that the Rotary Club of San Mateo doesn't always do the best job at broadcasting the good work that is done in the community... so it's time to start talking about it. Each year, the Rotary Club gives out significant scholarships for students in the San Mateo area to attend college, and we pride ourselves on ensuring a wide availability no matter the major or financial means of the student. Interested students should contact their guidance counselors for directions on how to apply and the online applications. All interviews will be conducted virtually.
Rotary Applications for 4-year colleges - DUE 3/18/2022
Criteria - must be applying for a 4-year college and attend a San Mateo area high school.
Rotary Applications for community colleges - DUE 4/9/2022
Criteria - must be applying for a San Mateo community college (i.e., CSM, Skyline, Canada) and attend a San Mateo area high school.
Other scholarships also exist, and we recommend students apply for as many as possible!
