Shipping & Pickup Policies
Make an appointment with us and shop in person in San Mateo, CA! Refill your own containers, or use our standard containers. As always, please make sure they are empty, clean, and dry. Mixing products, or introducing excess moisture or dirt can interact with the product, leaving you with something of inferior quality. We have space dedicated for bottle / jar / jug return.
One customer is allowed at a time. Children or others from your household may accompany you. Masks required, hand sanitizer will be provided. All shopping is outdoors - please dress accordingly.
Purchases over $25 are eligible for free local delivery (covering Millbrae to Palo Alto), or $5 for purchases under $25. Deliveries will be made to residences or businesses EVERY WEDNESDAY, or pickup can be arranged through email@example.com.
Pickup is available for free for all orders. Because we don't have a storefront with constant hours, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to place your order and arrange pick-up.
If you have any "empties" - reusable jars or bottles - from a prior order, please leave those out on delivery day or drop them off when you pickup an order and we'll sanitize them and reuse.
We also ship anywhere in the US. Some of our items are bulk refills, come in heavy glass jars, and weigh a lot. In all honesty, we don’t want to ship these all over the country... the weight of the product means that it’s not really an eco-friendly solution to incur the transportation costs if you’re far from San Mateo. These products are identified with LOCAL ONLY (does not ship) in their product name, so that it’s clear. (UPS and USPS will technically deliver it, but the delivery costs are so high that your eyes will bug out of your head.)
